About Matigo

Uganda's Trusted Private
Mock Examination Board

A commercial private examinations board serving Ugandan schools. Standardizing and managing mock examinations across PLE, UCE, and UACE levels through a secure, transparent, and accessible digital platform.

Our Purpose

Why Matigo Exists

Mock examinations are a critical part of Uganda's educational calendar. We build digital tools to make them reliable, transparent, and efficient.

Every year, hundreds of Ugandan secondary and primary schools administer mock examinations to prepare candidates for national assessments — PLE, UCE, and UACE. Historically, managing these assessments involved manual mark sheets, paper-based result compilation, error-prone grade calculations, and delays in delivering feedback to students.

Matigo Examinations Board was built to solve these exact challenges. We provide a digital infrastructure where schools register students, marksEntrants enter marks into audited workbenches, grades are calculated automatically against official criteria, and print-ready PDF result slips are generated instantly.
